Ballet: The foundation for all forms of dance. Ballet is practiced with the use of a ballet barre, where students learn basic steps and positions, which will be combined to create combinations. Students will not only learn the names of the steps, but also what they mean in the French language. They will be instructed on how to maintain correct posture of their own facility. Their facility, includes everything from the feet up through the top of their head. After leaving the ballet barre, students begin their "exercice au milieu", meaning exercises in the middle/center of the room. Here, they will attempt more steps and execute them with more repetition. These steps will include jumps, waltz and character steps, and more complex turns.

-SPECIALTY CLASSES-

Barre: This is an adult, ballet-inspired workout. Essentially, it is a fusion of Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga, all in a 1 hour class. The first 30 minutes are spent at the barre completing several sculpting-designed exercises. The following 20 minutes include aerobic movements performed in the center of the room, targeting the arms, core, and glutes. Lastly, the class wraps up with a 10 minute cool down, allowing the body to fully stretch, and the muscles to recover.
